At Discovery Fellowship Church, we value connection and community. Our teachings are built around connecting people to each other and to God.
We are a welcoming and open church that encourages people to come and share in the love of Jesus. Come join our community and grow in your faith alongside others who have the same beliefs and values.
We are committed to living out the values of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mission is to love God, love others, and share the good news of Jesus Christ.
“But a time is coming, and even now has arrived, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:23-24
“For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12
“As you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed, and overflowing with gratitude.”
Colossians 2:6-7

We invite you to explore our beliefs and join us in our pursuit of living out our faith in boldness and passion.
The scripture, both Old and New testaments, is the verbally inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of men, and the Divine and final authority for all Christian faith and life.
2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:19-21
There is one God, Creator of all things; He is infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
John 17:3; Revelation 4:11
Jesus Christ is the true God and true man, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He died on the cross, a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. Further, He arose bodily from the dead, ascended into heaven, where at the right hand of the Majesty on High, He now is our High Priest Advocate.
John 1:1; Hebrews 1:8. I Corinthians 15:3,4; Matthew 1:18; Hebrews 1:3, Hebrews 9:24
The ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, and during this age, to convict men, regenerate the believing sinner, and indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the believer for Godly living and service.
John 14:26; John 14:17; John 16: 7-11
The shedding of the blood of Jesus Christ and His resurrection provides the only ground for justification and salvation for all who believe, and only such as receive Jesus Christ are born to the Holy Spirit, and thus become children of God.
Acts 4:12; Colossians 1:20; Romans 6:5-6; Titus 3:5-7
Water baptism and the Lord’s supper are ordinances to be observed by the church during the present age. They are, however, not to be regarded as a means of salvation.
Matthew 28:19; Acts 8: 36-39; 16:31-33; I Corinthians 11:23-25; Acts 22:16
The Church is composed of all such persons who through saving faith in Jesus Christ have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and are united together in the body of Christ of which He is the Head.
Ephesians 1:22; Colossians 1:18
Only those who are members of the true Church Universal shall be eligible for membership in the local church.
Acts 2
Jesus Christ is the Lord and Head of the Church, and every local church has the right under Christ to decide and govern its own affairs.
Ephesians 1:22; Colossians 1:18
The personal, premillennial, and imminent coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, this “Blessed Hope”, has a vital bearing on the personal life and service of the believer.
Acts 1:11; I Corinthians 15:51-52; I Thessalonians 4: 16-18, Titus 2:13-14
There will be a bodily resurrection of the dead; of the believer to everlasting blessedness and joy with the Lord, and of the unbeliever to judgment and everlasting conscious punishment.
I Corinthians 15; Revelation 20:6; John 5:28, 29
Man was created in the image of God, but fell into sin and is therefore lost, and only through regeneration by the Holy Spirit can salvation and spiritual life be obtained. We believe that all human life is created by God at the moment of conception and is therefore sacred to Him and worthy of full and equal protection under law at every stage of their biological development without regard to age, health, or condition of dependency.
Genesis 1:26; Romans 5:12; Titus 3:3-7; Psalm 24:1, Psalm 139:1, 13-16
Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime. It is God’s unique gift to reveal the union between Christ and His Church, and to provide for the man and the woman in marriage the framework for intimate companionship, the channel of sexual expression according to Biblical standards, and the means for procreation of the human race.
Genesis 2:18-25; Ephesians 5:25, 32; Hebrews 13:4
Confessing the Bible to be the authoritative Word of God (Isaiah 40:8; Luke 4:31-32; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21), we believe that God has spoken clearly and sufficiently to the issue of human sexuality. In accordance with this belief, we must state that homosexuality in its varied forms, whether gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered, is out of accord with God’s design for human sexuality and is sinful. (Genesis 1:27-28; 2:18-25; 19:1-28; Exodus 20:14; Leviticus 18:22; 20:13; Matthew 19:4-6; Romans 1:26-27; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; 1 Timothy 1:8-10; 2 Peter 2:6-8). The only remedy for this (and all sin) is found in the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 6:11). Both the Old and New Testaments clearly state God’s intention for human sexuality: the monogamous, lifelong sexual union of one man and one woman. Any departure from this divine order is a distortion of God’s intention for human sexuality, including not only homosexual behavior, but also rape, incest, pedophilia, premarital sex, adultery, bestiality, pornography, and any other sexual expression outside of Scripture.
